THE INTERNATIONAL CYCLE SHOW 2004
23-26 September
BUSINESS DESIGN CENTRE London N1

There seemed to be a lot more road bikes at the show than what we are normally used to seeing and what with most of the big names being represented we had lots to keep us interested, we were particularly impressed by the welded titanium bikes on the Omega stand. We had a good look around at all the various stands and we must have covered miles walking around the Business Design Centre which was the former Royal Agricultural Hall. After a while we decided to have a sit down and we took the opportunity to watch the dancers modeling the latest cycling fashions in a bizarre dance routine not normally associated with the sport of cycling, nevertheless it was an enjoyable an sometimes humourous show! The show closed at 4 o'clock and we could have done with another hour or two to see all that was there so we ventured back through the busy London streets and, after finding our car which we had parked in East Acton, headed back along the M4, towards the hills of Wales. We had a great time at the bike show and may even go there again next year!
