Wester Ross frame 357.
Frank Tyrrell of West Kensington, London has kindly sent me photos and details of his superb Wester Ross racing/light touring bike. The frame itself has a Cinelli investment cast bottom bracket and lugs with heart shaped cutouts, the forks have a Zeus 2000 semi-sloping fork crown. The Campagnolo dropouts have been hard chromed. The colour scheme is cream with brown panels. The frame number has the suffix 'FGF' which indicates that it was built by Furgus Forsyth.
The groupset is an early version of Shimano's high quality 'Dura-Ace' with black anodized chainset, derailleurs, headset, brakes and hubs. The rims are Mavic G40 rims (black) whilst the bars, stem, seat-pin and pedals are from the Japanese firm SR (Sakae Ringyo).
