Wester Ross frame 402 FGF.

Gavin Bailey has kindly sent me details of his superb Wester Ross touring bike. The frame was refinished in the original dark blue in the late 80’s and had a few extra braze-ons added; threaded mounts for mudguards to avoid brake-mount clips, water bottle underneath downtube, gear lever bosses, concealed dynamo wiring tube inside down tube, rear rack mounting bosses. The frame-number has the suffix 'FGF' which indicates that it was made by Furgus Forsyth, John Connell's assistant frame-builder. Gavin also owns another Wester Ross, a racing bike, frame number 403
